About Rudens Turku
Thanks to his ability to effortlessly capture the emotional core of every composition, Rudens Turku is considered one of the most intuitive and versatile violinists of our time. His expressive playing transcends technical and analytical boundaries, adding an impressive range of interpretative expression to various genres. Contemporary works by composers such as David Philip Hefti and Bernd Franke have been dedicated to Rudens Turku's unique style, which he himself premiered. His musical achievements are documented in numerous recordings, which have been awarded multiple prizes and released by Prospero Classical, Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm, Oehms Classics, and Avie Records.
In the upcoming season, Rudens Turku will perform concerts throughout Europe and Asia. A CD featuring new perspectives on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's chamber music is set to be released in 2025.

Early Years and Rise
At the age of 14, Rudens Turku left his homeland of Albania and soon met his future teacher Ana Chumachenco, with whom he began his studies at the Munich University of Music. Under her mentorship he developed his unmistakable style. He completed his studies with the Meisterklassenpodium and his international solo career took off with invitations to perform at the world's major concert halls. He has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and the Munich Philharmonic.
As a soloist, Rudens Turku has performed with various orchestras, including the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, the Jänner Philharmoniker, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Kosovo Philharmonic, Cappella Istropolitana, and the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra.
His artistic collaborators and chamber music partners include outstanding musicians such as Julia Fischer, Lisa Batiashvili, Arabella Steinbacher, Alban Gerhardt, Eduard Brunner, András Adorjan, Tatjana Masurenko, Milana Cherniavska, Oliver Schnyder, Ana Chumachenco, the Ebene Quartet, Matthias Höfs, Sibylle Mahni, Kai Frömbgen, Johannes Gmeinder, Malte Refardt, Stephanie Winker, Roland Glassl, Wen-Sinn Yang, and Ekkehard Beringer.
Musical encounters with Ida Haendel, August zu Everding, Dénes Zsigmondy, Isabelle Faust, Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Neeme Järvi, Sir Colin Davis, Lorin Maazel, and Krzysztof Penderecki also left a deep impression on his artistic development.
