Young Musicians

can best develop their talent in a safe space. However, part of their training and the preservation of their talent also involves preparing them for their profession and the practical aspects of their musical careers.

Among Rudens Turku's former students are musicians who now perform around the world as internationally recognized solo artists, concertmasters, as permanent orchestra members, in academy positions, or as educators who have found their place in the music world.

Live on stage

is not just about stage fright, the concert hall, or the audience. It is also about the broader audience: our society. Stages must be created, and young people must be heard—they need the opportunity to bring their talent into the world. Rudens Turku regularly brings his students "live on stage" in chamber music projects or as soloists. In this spirit, he founded the two renowned music festivals, Internationale Musiktage in Starnberg and Seefeld, which provide young exceptional talents in the music world a space for inner expression and public performance and are now among the leading educational and performance venues for young talent.

Rudens Turku opens doors for talented young musicians around the world to study at prestigious institutions like the Accademia Perosi, MusiKae Madrid and the Stella University of Music in Vorarlberg. Here, aspiring talents receive guidance for technical perfection as well as the artistic space and exchange necessary to expand their expressive range.

Masterclasses

„Masterclasses are places of collective growth. They offer young talents the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from the best, and discover their own path. Here, technical skills are not only refined, but one's own musical voice is discovered and strengthened.“

The masterclasses in Seefeld and Starnberg, part of the Internationale Musiktage, are twice a year a magnet for talented young musicians from around the world. In spring and summer, international students gather for several days of intensive musical work. Under the guidance of renowned musicians like Wen-Sinn Yang, Milana Chernyavska, Susanne Sigg, Malte Refardt, Beatriz Blanco, Kai Frömbgen, Roland Glassl, Sibylle Mahni, Stephanie Winker, Johannes Gmeinder, and Rudens Turku, the students deepen their technical skills and work on their artistic expression.

The highlights of the masterclasses are the public final concerts, where young musicians showcase their abilities in front of a broad audience. These live performances are not only an opportunity for the students to gain stage experience – they also attract thousands of music enthusiasts from around the world each year, who appreciate the exceptional atmosphere and quality of the performances.
